We worked together with Caroe Architects on the conceptual development of a plan for visitor access and circulation through this Cambridgeshire estate, which is managed by the National Trust. The listed landscape owes its features variously to Wise, Bridgeman, Capability Brown, and Repton. Our proposal was an attempt to articulate the estate through a sequence of events along a circuit, to clear the estate of cars a new car park was tucked in beyond the designed historic landscape as a point on the circuit. The car park later gained planning permission in 2017.
