FFLO LandscapesOur interest in historic landscapes stems from the pleasure that we take in renewal, and in working with beautiful things and places. Historic landscape projects are about categorising value and hierarchy: What are the things here that matter most, and that are of greatest value? What is the essential meaning of a place? And how may these be preserved? These are the questions that drive our thinking. The elements we then add, determined by contemporary need, are often recycled from materials of the site, are always explicitly new, and calculated to reinforce the values of the historic landscape and its meaning.
