FFLO LandscapesOur gardens are extensions and expressions of the lives of the people and families who live in them, so primarily they are structured by the ways in which they may be used and lived in. Then we are interested in sustainability and we often use local stone, timber, or a local resource such as a particular craft skill or technique from the project area. We like simple things that are made with quality and to last, and we think that our gardens will acquire meaning in this way – the stone that an infant loves to leap from may become the stone the same person, now elderly, rests on to admire the tree they planted then.
